This amazing necklace features a very rare Colombian emerald with a GRS certificate and a special GRS Notation for a rare color known as “Old Mine” & Muzo Green”.

This magnificent emerald is a perfect collector’s stone which is set in a fine hand made diamond & platinum necklace.

The diamonds in this necklace are mixed shape and mostly large size with all being of fine quality. This ensemble of fine stones and a fancy design make this necklace into a true work of art.

The emerald in the necklace is pearl shape and it weighs 4.08 carats. This emerald has a prestigious GRS certificate stating Colombian emerald with Minor treatment.

In addition, it has a special notation for a rare and exceptional color. This type of emerald is known for the Old Mine green color which is the most valuable color in emeralds.

The diamonds in this necklace weigh 24.26 carats total; they are F to G color and VS to VVS clarity.

This necklace is made of platinum 950 and it weighs 46.8 grams total.

The central step-cut emerald with foil backed mount set within a cluster of cushion-cut diamonds, to a further oval cushion-cut diamond border surround and similarly set crescent shaped shoulders, to the tapering bracelet designed as a series of circular target cluster links, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1870, 18.2cm long, the central emerald and diamond cluster detachable to form a brooch .
