Red is such a powerful color as it demands attention yet inspires warmth and passion and this vintage bracelet is pulsing with intense purplish red rubies: 16 1/2 carats of them. The link bracelet is made up of 3 sections with a ribbon motif connecting these stations in white gold while the rubies are encrusted in 14kt yellow gold. The stations are made up of 3 rows of oval cut natural rubies where there are 66 total and they average about .25 carats each. They are perfectly matched in both color and size. Each diamond section is encrusted with 76 round full cut bead set natural diamonds graded I-J in color and SI1-SI2 in clarity. There are 228 diamonds total weighing 3.00 carats and they color the entire surface of theses 3 diamond sections. The bracelet weighs a nice and comfortable 36.7 grams and measures 7 3/4” in length, 5/8” in width and 4.75mm in depth. The box clasp has 2 safety fold down hinges for extra security. This piece was made in the 1980s and is in immaculate condition.
